Used Standard Metals gravity filler/briner. The machine has 24 valves and is currently set up as a briner/finisher for pickle jars. The machine was purchased in 1992 at a cost of approximately $95,000. It was used for 4 months and removed from service. The product contact parts of the machine are 316 stainless steel while the frame is 304 stainless steel. It operates from left to right and utilizes a feedscrew infeed. . Maximum bottle diameter is 6 inches. The machine is capable of production rates of up to 250 cpm on quarts. The machine needs the fiberglass product reservoir. If the machine was to be used to fill small neck bottles, a new set of filling nozzles would have to be manufactured. The machine was originally set up for hydraulic drive, but could be converted to electric. |

Used Horix, model HA-20 Hytamatic filler. The machine was manufactured in 1980. This is a pressure filler utilizing a level sensing, no contact valve for highly accurate fills. Valve operation is pneumatic. Machine is equipped with no container/no fill and no container/no blow down capability. The pitch diameter is 48 inches and the machine is capable of filling a container of 6.5 inch diameter at each station. The machine was previously running maple syrup and a lemon concentrate at a major food company. Included with the machine is an extensive selection of spare maintenance parts and the manual. There are six sets of change parts which include two 12 oz., 15 oz., 24 oz., 32 oz., and a set for 2 liter. Machine operates from left to right and is currently set up for 460 volt 3 phase power. |
